18th IBD-RDA Political Office: Tidjane Thiam absent, here's why

The party decided on Saturday, 5 April in Yamoussoukro that its investiture agreement for the presidential elections of 25 October 2025, which will be organized in a "split" manner in several major cities in the country, will take place on 16 April. The decision was taken at a political office in which Tidjane Thiam, the president of the Democratic Party of Côte d'Ivoire (PDCI), did not participate.

The 18th Political Bureau of the DPCI-RDA opened this Saturday, April 5, 2025 at the Félix Houphouët-Boigny Peace Research Foundation in Yamoussoukro, in the noticeable absence of its president, Tidjane Thiam.
