2 dead after home fire in High Point on Barbee Avenue

HIGH POINT, N.C. (WGHP) — Two people are dead after a house fire in High Point earlier this month, according to the High Point Fire Department. The fire took place at a home on Barbee Avenue. There was heavy smoke in the back of the home as a result of the blaze. One person was pronounced dead at the scene, and another person was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
