Nearly 1,000 people, mostly students, followed the big debate between candidate rectors Rik Van de Walle and Petra De Sutter. On the agenda: the vision of Israeli collaborations, transgressive behavior and political interference. The possible appointment of a convicted Reuzegommer also caused a commotion.
