A Bibb County infant died after she was attacked by at least one dog inside an Alabaster home. Shelby County Coroner Lina Evans on Tuesday identified the baby as Ember Southard. She was 6 months old. Ember was with her grandmother at a relative's home on 10th Street S.W. when the grandmother found the infant unresponsive on the floor. There were obvious signs of injury to the child, authorities said.
