Togo: Opposition forced to postpone its scheduled meeting on the margins of the 65th anniversary of independence
Togo celebrated the 65th anniversary of its independence on Sunday, 27 April. For the occasion, a multi-hour military and civilian parade was held on the Place des Fêtes de Lomé II, not far from the Presidency of the Republic. On the other hand, at the request of the authorities, the opposition was forced to report sine die its scheduled meeting on the beach of the capital.
