Las Vegas Woman Charged in Deadly Romance Scam Targeting Older Men

Aurora Phelps, 43, has been charged with 21 counts, including kidnapping resulting in death, after targeting older men through dating apps and drugging them, according to Sue Fahami of the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Nevada.
Three of the men Phelps targeted died, and a fourth survived but was left in a coma, FBI agent Spencer Evans reported during a news conference.
Phelps allegedly stole hundreds of thousands of dollars by accessing victims' accounts after incapacitating them, spending the money on luxury items, as stated by the FBI.
Federal officials indicate there may be more victims, and the FBI is working with Mexican authorities to extradite Phelps, according to Evans.
