Because American collections are not inalienable, the Bass Museum of Art in Miami was able to sell a 15th century polyptych last February, in order to be able to buy other works in coherence with its current cultural policy. This altarpiece belonged to John and Johanna Bass who offered their collection to the city of Miami Beach in 1963 in order to create a museum News / Corte, Museum of Corsica, Giovanni Mazone (1433-1511)
