Scientists describe the dark diversity of the Czech landscape. It shows how damaged it is

In areas strongly influenced by human activity, plant species that would otherwise naturally occur in similar habitats are missing. The phenomenon known as dark diversity is being studied by two hundred botanists from around the world in the DarkDivNet project. Czech experts helped create a methodological concept and collected data from several areas in Bohemia and Moravia.
