A first for Kumamoto!! Hitoyoshi Kuma 2 Association jointly operates firefighting command operations; new center opens

The Hitoyoshi Shimokuma Fire Department (Hitoyoshi City) and the Kami-Kuma Fire Department (Taragi Town) will begin joint operation of fire command operations in April, the first of its kind in Kumamoto Prefecture, and held an opening ceremony for a new command center at the Kami-Kuma Fire Department on the 5th. The aim is to make effective use of firefighting personnel, reduce costs, and improve disaster response capabilities.
