A man from Prostějov "invested" 600 thousand, but it ended up irretrievably lost

An elderly man from Prostějov was lured by an unknown "financial expert" who seemed to be offering a lucrative return on investment. He gradually sent more and more money over the internet, until he realized at the level of six hundred thousand crowns that it might be a scam.

A 63-year-old from Gorzów Wielkopolski lost almost PLN 200,000, counting on profits from investing in cryptocurrencies. The man was manipulated and defrauded by a fake broker, junior asp. Agnieszka Wiśniewska from the City Police Headquarters in Gorzów Wielkopolski informed on Tuesday.
