There were lengthy traffic jams in and around Amsterdam due to an overturned truck on the A8 near Zaandam, but also problems on the A28, the A4, and A12, among others. Meanwhile, the ongoing issues with overhead lines above the railroad near Utrecht were only fully resolved at 4:45 p.m.

ZAANSTAD-ASSENDELFT (ANP) - The A8 towards Zaandam is expected to be close to Zaanstad-Assendelft until 4 p.m., because a clay truck overturned there on Tuesday morning. The clay is scooped out of the roadside. 60 meters of guardrail were also damaged and that is being repaired, reports Rijkswaterstaat.
