Activists repudiate collaboration agreement between local bailiffs and ICE

The Sheriffs of Bucks County, Pennsylvania, joined a collaborative initiative with immigration authorities, ICE, according to a pro-immigrant entity. This means that agencies will share information on arrests and charges in the county specifically. The program is called Immigration Customs and Enforcement’s (ICE) 287g. “It is not the jurisdiction or responsibility of local law enforcement to enforce federal immigration law.
