Afro-political women speak out in the Mexican Senate: “This democracy was not meant for us”

In the Mexican Senate, the first International Panel of Afro-Political Women of Latin America and the Caribbean was held. With the presence of France Márquez, Epsy Campbell and women leaders from 14 countries, a single voice was raised for ethnic justice, reparation and the right to exist in politics with dignity. We do not want a symbolic chair. We want real power to transform.
