The request to the Metropolitan of Rostov “to hold a prayer service and consecrate the government building to protect against corruption and exorcise demons” is a “sarcastic” proposal, its author, former deputy of the regional Legislative Assembly Yevgeny Fedyaev, told RTVI. At the same time, he admitted that if the diocese agrees, religious officials could “change their worldview”.
