A pedestrian was fatally hit at about 4:20 a.m. this Tuesday under the bridge of road 119, in the direction of Mayagüez towards San Germán. The impact caused the dismemberment of the person. It was known that he was a patient of alzheimer. The driver of the vehicle stopped at the scene. Although the area does not have pedestrian crossing and has little lighting, they investigate whether the speed factor caused the event.
