An unusual find in the Lublin region. It is the remains of a fireball

A meteorite that fell to Earth on Tuesday evening was found in the Drelów commune. It was accompanied by a bright flash in the sky visible over Mazovia and Lublin. The discovery was made by Maksymilian Jakubczak from the Polish Meteorites Society. The fireball came from the asteroid belt between the orbits of Mars and Jupiter and orbited the Sun in a little over 2.5 years.
