The shoe manufacturer Birkenstock is taking action against competitors who are said to have copied the cult sandals with the cork sole. In the third and final instance, the Federal Court of Justice must now decide whether copyright was infringed by competitors. The main question is whether the sandals can be considered works of art.

Der Schuhhersteller Birkenstock geht gegen Konkurrenten vor, die die Kultsandalen mit dem Korkbett nachgebaut haben sollen.
