At least 100 suspected chemical weapons warehouses in Syria
There are likely more than 100 chemical weapons stockpiles left in Syria – all remnants of the Assad regime. That is three times more than Bashar al-Assad admitted after the nerve gas attack in Ghouta in 2013, when at least 1,800 people were suffocated to death. At that time, Syria promised to disarm – but according to the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons, OPCW, the dictator did the opposite.
