The tourist flats already exceed those of the hotels in ten big cities

The growth of tourist homes remains unstoppable. Between January and September 2024, 344,397 places were counted in tourist flats, with an annual growth of 17.5% compared to 404,914 places in hotels, which only grew by 2.9%, according to the report presented this morning by the Exceltur lobby, which represents thirty companies in the tourism sector such as Iberia, Renfe, Meliá, Iberostar or Minor.
