Barrika asks neighbors for “more selective” recycling

Five years ago, the incineration rate for household waste stood at EUR 90.68 per tonne. Last year it cost EUR 119.59 and, since this month of April, EUR 155.47, i.e. an increase of 30% over last year. In view of this situation, the City of Barrika has appealed to the public to carry out a more selective recycling in order to try to alleviate, to the extent possible, the rise in public prices for the use of treatment plants.
