Art in Uppsala should become more equal

Five of Uppsala Municipality's total of 30 public works of art outdoors are dedicated to women. Now it will be more equal. First up will be a memorial to Ebba Boström, the woman who founded the Samaritan Home. “We should be equal in everything we do, in outdoor art there is an overrepresentation of men,” says Gunilla Stillström, curator, public art.
