CAMBRIDGE, Mass.- The Emerson College baseball team dropped a 7-3 decision at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Tuesday afternoon.

First year John Spivey (St. Louis, Mo.) was 3-for-4 with a double and a pair of RBIs and senior Malachi Soqui (Castaic, Calif.) and junior Louis Hernandez (Glastonbury, Conn.) each hit home runs to put the game out of reach, as the MIT baseball team defeated Emerson College, 7-3, in NEWMAC action on Tuesday afternoon at Fran O'Brien Field.
