Bat stuck in gas heater, firefighters help exhausted animal

The residents of a house on Sprendlingenstraat in Oisterwijk discovered on Wednesday evening that a bat was stuck in their gas fireplace. The fireplace was closed off with a glass plate, behind which the animal had ended up. After some struggling and flying, the bat was exhausted and fell asleep. The fire brigade was called.
