Berea mulls moratorium on vape, e-cigarette businesses

BEREA, Ohio -- A resolution establishing a one-year temporary moratorium on new vape/e-cigarette businesses received its first of three public readings during City Council’s April 21 meeting.

After the entry into force, on 1 April, of a new tax on vaping liquids, which affects products with and without nicotine, the sector fears the legislative change proposed by the Ministry of Health, which includes the prohibition of flavors in e-cigarette liquids and generic labelling.
