Less incentive to report disease in breeding? The state will reduce reimbursements for human-transmitted diseases

If bird flu or salmonellosis or other human-transmitted diseases are introduced into animal husbandry, farmers will now receive lower compensation for lost profits from April. Although in theory it is also about other animals, in practice it will mainly be the issue of poultry farming. The novelty was introduced by an amendment to the Veterinary Act, the Ministry wants to save money by reducing reimbursements.
