(FARGO, ND) – Fargo Police Captain Chris Helmick has worked his final shift with the Fargo Police Department. Helmick was named Police Chief at the City of Moorhead at its March 10 meeting. He will assume the position of chief on April 14, succeeding Chief Shannon Monroe, who retired in March after more than 30 years on the job.
