The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service will conduct prescribed fires in the Imperial National Wildlife Refuge during the week of April 28. Residents of Yuma may see smoke as a result.

CASPER, Wyo. — The Casper Mountain Fire Department will conduct a controlled burn at the slash pile on Tower Hill East on Saturday.The burn, which will be located east of Bear Trap, is being performed for the dual purpose of training and reducing flammable fuels in the area.In a social media post, the CMFD advised that smoke will be visible throughout the day as a result.
