I heard about chaga around 2014 from the company Chapeau des Bois, which delivered it to the restaurant where I worked in Quebec City. My first contact with this black and tough mushroom was through a decoction. Afterwards, I had the pleasure of rediscovering it in a beer created from chaga. Since then, more and more chefs in Quebec have started to incorporate it into their recipes. Source
