Environmental activists are alerting about the "climate-related consequences" of the air transport industry in particular. They were delocalised in a quiet environment on Saturday after two hours of demonstration.

"In a world where climate issues should be a central concern, flying to a ski resort is a departure from the norm."

The Chambéry airport has been blocked since 9 a.m. this Saturday, March 29 because of some 40 activists of the Extinction Rebellion group who blocked the entrance to the airport. Vacancers, buses, taxis, parked at the entrance, all waited to be able to return inside with English tourists in mess on foot with their suitcases. The gendarmerie dislodged the environmental activists around 11 a.m.
