Chester firefighters battle house fire

Firefighters were called Saturday shortly after noon to a house fire at Seventh and Lincoln streets in Chester. The house went up quickly, with just smoke at the time of the original 911 calls, to flames from one side of the house as the first firefighters arrived, to fire through the roof within another five minutes, according to fire radio traffic.
