CHICAGO (WGN) — The Chicago Cubs have inked former Milwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Colin Rea to a new contract where he'll rejoin the North Siders for the 2025 MLB season. Rea signed a one-year deal with a club option for 2026, the Cubs announced via X on Monday. The 34-year-old right-handed pitcher had a career year in 2024. Rea went 12-6 with a 4.29 ERA in 167.2 innings across 32 games and 27 starts for the Brewers.
