Chilliwack firefighters battle pair of burning poultry barns

Two poultry barns were completely destroyed in a fire in Greendale on January 15, as reported by the Chilliwack Fire Department.
Firefighters from all six fire halls responded to the blaze, which was called a two-alarm fire within an hour, according to officials.
No livestock were inside the barns, and firefighters saved chicks in a neighboring barn, as confirmed by officials on-scene.
The cause of the fire appears to be accidental, stated Chief Andy Brown in a press release.
