China in customs dispute: Outside hard, inside a bit soft
While the Chinese party leadership points out that in the customs dispute with the US "want to fight to the end," it has quietly and secretly granted the economic archenemy a few relaxations: U.S. products from the healthcare sector seem to have been exempt from 125 percent import duties, as well as some goods from the aviation and chemical sectors. On Friday, this was confirmed by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in Beijing.
