Following the debate at the Kadıköy Municipality Council, Deputy Chairman Ahmet Kurtuluş was detained by the prosecutor's office on charges of "abuse of office" and "obstruction of freedom of expression."

An investigation has been launched by the Istanbul Anatolian Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding CHP's Kadıköy Municipality Council 1st Deputy Chairman Ahmet Kurtuluş. It has been learned that a detention order has been issued for Kurtuluş.

The Anatolian Chief Public Prosecutor's Office launched an investigation into CHP's Kadıköy Municipality Council Deputy Chairman Ahmet Kurtuluş. Kurtuluş was detained as part of the investigation.

Following the controversial behavior of CHP's Kadıköy Municipality Council President Ahmet Kurtuluş towards the AK Party's sole council member in the district, Elif Lale Bilgili, a disciplinary investigation was first launched by his party, and then the Istanbul Anatolian Chief Public Prosecutor's Office took action.
