Cyndi Lauper, Chubby Checker among the 2025 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees
- Cyndi Lauper, Chubby Checker, and five other acts will join the Rock Hall this fall.
- Artists become eligible 25 years after their first recording and voters select inductees.
- Salt-N-Pepa, Warren Zevon, and others also receive special awards this year.
- The 83-year-old Checker told the AP in 2014, "I don't want to get in there when I'm 85 years old."
