Program lets families leave their mark on new obstetric unit

A hallway of the new Obstetrics and Newborn Care Unit at The Moncton Hospital will be adorned with the names of children who were born at the hospital, through a new program

On April 7, 2025, the Specialised Mother and Child Hospital Blanche-Gomes hosted the celebration of World Health Day under the theme "Good Health at Birth for a Hopeful Future." It was the Minister of Health, Professor Jean-Rosaire Ibara who presided over the ceremony, in the presence of the Acting Regional Director of WHO-Africa, the Resident Representative of the United Nations system and the medical profession.
