LPG cylinder prices hiked by Rs 50 for both subsidised, non-subsidised consumers
- LPG prices will increase by Rs 50 per cylinder starting April 8, 2025, as announced by Union Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas Hardeep Singh Puri.

- The government plans to review LPG prices every 15 days based on international prices, reflecting the recent increase in the average Saudi CP from $415 to $712 per MT.
- Additionally, the government raised excise duties on petrol and diesel by Rs 2 each, with petrol now at Rs 21.90 and diesel at Rs 17.80 per litre.
