Crime around a church statue

Beckerich is located just below the Kahlenberg, but dense tree growth prevents a view over the place. Just a hundred meters as the crow flies from the nearest houses, the medieval St. Jobs chapel on the mountain therefore appears to be deserted and quiet. At the beginning of 1968 this changes: one or more perpetrators invade the chapel and steal four old statues.
