Cyberattack: Hackers Cause Radio Failure

During the night on Tuesday, cybercriminals encoded the servers of the French-speaking Wallis radio station Rhône FM and issued a ransom request. By now, the station was able to resume its regular operation on a limited basis.

A cyberattack has been the reason for the breakdown at the Wallis local radio Rhône FM from Monday to Tuesday. The servers on which the various programs were broadcast had been encrypted by hackers.
