Customs duties will increase from 14.38% to 34.45%, according to the U.S. Department of Commerce.

Already in the Trump administration's line of sight, another blow of clubs is waiting for the construction timber producers: the customs duties currently imposed on them south of the border are likely to double because of an old dispute that persists with Washington.

The United States will move forward with a total customs duty of 34% on Canadian lumber, according to Bloomberg.
