"Déi Lénk faces civil society as a warring party

Summary by Wort.lu
For Déi Lénk, the party congress in Mertert was no ordinary one. Since the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022, the party has been wrestling outwards with its position. Internal trench struggles have gone so far that before the Chamber elections in 2023, the party renounced an official position on the issue of arms deliveries to Ukraine. That was to change on Sunday at the party congress at the Centre Culturel in Mertert.
