Linda McMahon, a MAGA billionaire tapped by President Trump to lead the Department of Education, testified last week before the Senate and made her intentions crystal clear. Trump and his unelected cronies have not been shy about their mission to destroy public education. Barely 24 hours before McMahon’s hearing, Trump said he wanted to close the Department of Education “immediately,” calling it “a big con job.”  We need to take him at his word.…
