Budget seasons are winding down, and the Des Moines County Board of Supervisors held a public hearing and followed it up with the approval of its FY26 operating budget.

Atlantic School Board Approves FY26 Budget

(Atlantic) The Atlantic School Board approved the FY26 Budget following a public hearing Wednesday evening. There were no comments from the public. Lisa Jones, Director of Finance, said the budget was set at the highest rate because it can only be decreased, not increased.
