Don Alberto Torriani appointed Archbishop of Crotone

Pope Francis elected Ambrosian priest Alberto Torriani to the episcopate, calling him to be Archbishop of Crotone-Santa Severina. Born in 1971 in Bollate (MI), ordained priest in 2000, Don Alberto Torriani was parish vicar at the Parish of San Biagio di Monza, and of the subsequent Pastoral Community “Ascension of the Lord”. In Monza, he was responsible for the city's youth ministry from 2003 to 2011.
