Dramatic increase in accidents with electric scooters

According to preliminary figures from the Swedish Transport Agency, 4,599 people were injured in accidents involving electric scooters in 2024. This is an increase of 30 percent compared to 2023. Last year, five people died in electric scooter accidents.
