Ebrard says Hyundai will continue to produce its Tucson model in Nuevo León

In the midst of President Donald Trump’s tariff war, with more than 180 countries and following threats to companies to manufacture their products in US territory to avoid tariffs, Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Alabama confirmed that it will maintain part of its production in Mexico. According to a statement from the company, the decision to maintain production in the country is in line with the global strategy of efficient and flexible production.

The secretary assured that the sale of the vehicle will be destined to countries with which Mexico has a free trade agreement, but the production will continue to be carried out in the plant of Pesquería.
