Mass., (WPRI) -- This weekend, anyone in Massachusetts who uses EBT cards for their SNAP benefits, will not be able to use them for several hours. Massachusetts residents who receive benefits from the Supplementary Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) will not be able to temporarily use their Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) cards to access their benefits this weekend.This is due to the maintenance of the system, card holders will not be able to use their EBT cards to access food or cash benefits from 11 p.m. Saturday to noon Sunday, according to the Department of Transitional Assistance.
