The Eisbären Berlin are German ice hockey champions for the eleventh time. The record champion defeated the Cologne sharks in the fifth final match at home with 7:0. Thus, the Berliners won the series with 4:1 and also the 30th title in the history of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL).
