French President Emmanuel Macron said he “never planned” to dissolve the National Assembly again, according to Agence France-Presse.

"It's not serious on Bloomberg's part to have written this (...) I never said such a thing, nor envisaged such a thing," said the president to the press on his state trip to Madagascar.

The American news agency Bloomberg said that Emmanuel Macron "considers to dissolve the National Assembly this fall" and "has consulted in recent weeks with people in his first circle about such a scenario."
