Euclid man convicted in organized theft ring targeting delivery trucks

CLEVELAND, Ohio - A Euclid man was found guilty Wednesday for his role in a crime ring that stole more than $230,000 worth of cigarettes, meat, liquor and cash from dozens of delivery trucks across northern Ohio.

The government published engineer Alfredo Enrique Piñeres' resume as a previous step to appoint him as superintendent of Transport. The public references of the designated official are few. But Piñeres is a known in the transit and transport business, which he now has to monitor.
